    Great even when bought used

    I bought my DeWalt SCR025 Bluetooth radio charger used. It has great sound. The Bluetooth works very well and radio reception is very good. It works so well I kinda wish I would have bought a new one.

    Radio not up to Dewalt standards

    I am a Dewalt fan and presently own more than 30 Dewalt tools including drills, saws , and other miscellaneous tools. This is my third Dewalt radio/charger. I have upgraded each time to the latest version to charge batteries for various tools. I live out in the country a fair distance from radio stations and find that a $50 Sony radio picks up better than my latest Dewalt radio/charger. Only three out of the five memory presets work and the auxiliary port and USB port are hard to reach the way they are located inside the storage compartment. The radio sounds descent enough when playing and the warranty would cover the cost of repairing the presets but I didn’t buy it to have to send it in for repair. This is the second of the three radios I’ve owned that didn’t work properly brand new right out of the box. Come on Dewalt. You’re a better company than that. You guys build great tools most of the time.

    I love this radio!

    I have the radio for $149.99 and just saw the price I bought it. I did some research first and now I cannot be more happy, this radio charge my 20v batteries and charge my phone Too is Bluetooth I can be 50’ away and still on range, you can’t go wrong honestly.

    good sounds

    I would give it 5of5 if dewalt would fix the seriously old design of their cord and their antenna. Make that cord retract or something because thats always dragginh behind the radio on the job site and find a way to keep the antenna on there for more than a summer. Excellent product otherwise. Bluetooth works great! speakers pound out other radios.

    Dewalt Raadio - +'s

    Good sound, FM reception not the best. Does not have a speaker like some Bluetooth devices so when linked to the phone the volume shuts off so can talk over it. Over happy with the radio.

    Heavy

    I bought this because I work in a warehouse and I ride around on an electric pallets and I spend a lot of time by myself and I needed something sturdy as well as can handle extreme temperatures because sometimes I work in a freezer Since I've received it, I haven't been in the freezer. Beyond that, the compartment inside will be nice to safeguard my phone, as well as the fact that it is Bluetooth, so I can just keep it inside my suit anyways. It has a battery hot/cold charging delay in case the battery is still cold or hot when you plug the radio with a built in charger into the wall. Super nice. Change songs on the radio. Can get very loud if need be. Equalizer is awesome. Hopefully it lasts several years. Only thing that kinda caught me off guard was it was a lot heavier than my old hand-me-down dewalt

    Does the job.

    Looks great. Good (not great) AM FM radio reception and audio output. Charges cell phones and DeWalt tool batteries quite well. Could be improved (not as loud as needed on most jobsites) but not a bad value if you can get it for under a hundred dollars (75-80 bucks is reasonable). Better for around the house job sites. Does what they say it does.

    Bluetooth able DeWalt dcr025 radio

    It is so simple to setup the dcr025 Bluetooth radio took less than 45 seconds to pair my phone my Android phone to it had no issues whatsoever very good sound and has great range

    Radio almost immediately stopped working

    Have had the radio for about a month. Probably less than 20 hours of actual use. Suddenly the only button that works is volume and it’s stuck in Bluetooth mode. I got this item to try to have a decent worry free jobsite radio and now I’m back in the same troubleshooting situation. Very disappointing.
