Five Bars where ever you go
My new home was built with radiant barriers and no wireless signal could penetrate the through this barrier. I installed the MicroCell and boom, instantly I have 5 bars where ever I am in my home; even on the patio and in the garage. It works so well, I purchased one for my son, as I was tired of calling him and trying to make out everything he said, because his AT&T connection was as disaster in his neighborhood. His house is right at 4,000 sq. ft., and he now gets 5 bars everywhere in the home. This was easy registration on the AT&T website, and easy hook up. Just be sure you place the MicroCell near a window so your GPS will work for Emergency calls, and the 911 center can you through your cell phone to track you. It really improves your FaceTime experience as well; no more pauses, and lost connections. The only thing to be aware of is when you are on a call, and leave your home, it might drop the caller, due to the switching back to a physical tower. Also, if your internet goes down, your phone also loses the MicroCell connection and you, again, will only have coverage from a local tower nearby. If you have any issues with you AT&T cell phone making clear 5 bar connections in your home, then this device will solve your problem. Five Star rating!Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Occasion

Good product, does the job.

Life saver in rural areas without good cell reception

Overall satisfied
We have no cellular coverage at our home. Although our phones have VOIP Software that can support wireless calls thru our router, the Microcell signal extends 2-3 times further than the wireless. The Microcell app is helpful in managing our unit but it does require a reboot somewhat regularly (1-2 times a month) to re-acquire lost connection. For those that need it, it's perfect.
Most of our house is between us and the cell tower so the absolute best signal we could get was 2 bars. Often it would take 5 retrys to initiate a single call. And drops were so frequent. The MicroCell gives me my own cell tower in my house. Now the only time I have a problem with a call is when the the internet goes down. Challenging to set up but works well after that

Perfect Emergency Device
I live in an area with no land lines or cell coverage, but I do have satellite internet. This unit allows me to make or receive emergency phone calls. There is still too much latency for normal conversations in most cases (due to the satellite connection, not the microcell) but it works great for texting, checking voice mail, and even incorporates an e911 feature that gives your GPS coordinates if you dial 911. If you have service through AT&T and your reception is bad, get the AT&T Cisco 3G Microcell Wireless Cell Phone Signal Booster DPH-153AT. MicroCell solve our problem.
Our cell service at our condo went from 0 to 1 bars to 5 bars, as long as the phones are connected to Micro Cell. The only negative is that when we leave the premises for an distance, we have to turn the phones off and back on to reconnect to the Micro Cell.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Occasion
