Canon PowerShot A1000
Great little camera. While I haven't tested yet. I was under the assumption that it was beat up and broken. I believe once I put batteries in it it will work. I bought this piticular camera about 12 or 13 years ago brand new and it is a great camera. Great picture quality and it even takes video footage. I lost all the accessories that came with the camera including the software. So I bought this one off of ebay for all of the accessories. Only issue I see is that someone left batteries in it too long and the metal in the battery compartment started to corrode. So l believe once I clean up the corrosion the camera should work just fine. Excellent little camera.Achat vérifié : Oui

So easy to carry and take with you.
This is a good camera for the traveler. How many times did you wish you had a camera? This one is so small and easy to carry, yet has a good lens and takes great photos. Another important feature is the eye level viewfinder, which is in addition to the LCD screen. Good and Cheap
I love these Canon Powershots. I have worn out two already. They have decent lenses, can do Automatic or Program (manual exposure and speed controls) flash control, delayed countdown shutter for running into the frame for selfies, settings for those weird artificial light situations, autofocus on faces,and movies with sound. The only thing is their cycle time is a little slow, but the design is from an era when it was very good. The one I just bought ( for only EIGHT, repeat EIGHT DOLLARS) is for all practical purposes, new. It must have been a gift to someone who never used it. The 2-Gig SD card (with one picture on it) that came inside is worth more than the whole thing! Such a DEAL!!! I rate it the maximum number of stars available.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Occasion

Great versatile camera
I lost my first Canon PowerShot A 1000 IS and was glad to find a replacement. Unlike most digital cameras this model has a view finder for when its too bright to see the screen. Replacement camera; lightweight and rugged.
Purchased this as a replacement for one that locked up. I need a small, lightweight, fairly rugged digital camera for site audits and the PowerShot was the best in the class when I first purchased mine a number of years ago. I had a new camera like this. Great deal!!
I've had a prior copy of this camera that I bought new in 2009, and it was starting to have wear issues with age. I needed either parts to repair my camera or a replacement one when I found this one up for sale. It is an exact replacement for my old camera and it works perfectly as new, and it was a great deal that I could not pass up for an older digital camera.
