Drum machine with realistic drum patterns that sound great! and lots of them.
I've always wanted a drum machine so I can play the patterns to my Boss BR-1600CD. My Boss unit only has 100 drum presets, and the DR-880 has 500 presets and stores 500 user patterns. The manual is 1/2" thick and it will take awhile to read and learn everything this unit can do. I got it at a great price and plan to keep it. Also it has a bass patterns, and guitar input with effects along with headphones for use.

A GREAT MACHINE, EXCEPT!
The machine is great, with two exception. There's no compartment for batteries so the machine can stand alone without a plug in power source, and there are no preset piano sounds installed like the drums and bass guitar. With that said, the machine is very fun to use and easy to program. It just needs an upgrade.

Great sounds and drum patterns,the bass guitar sounds awsome also.
Great sounding drum machine, a little difficult to use.Wish the foot pedals would work they way they do on my Alesis drum machines.

Good Drum Machine!
Easy to use, Sounds great! I don't use the bass patterns. I play my own but it's a good addition. This unit stands on the drums alone! the rest is cake!

Boss DR-880
Every musician should own one of these. It is such a valuable tool for practice, rehearsal and live performance. It never should have been discontinued so get one while there are still some out there for sale.

Good drum machine.
One of the cons are not being able to assign patterns to pads, a feature I liked on another machine I have. Other than that It's a good quality machine.

Good machine, good drum sounds. Takes a little time to learn. I bought the tutorial and it really helped explain with the book.
