    Good value but not as user friendly as more expensive units, home owner vs. professional.

    When using the level to set grade while excavating the target window is too narrow and hard to hit. There are 2 laser width settings that can be selected 1.5 mm and 3 mm have been unable to notice a difference between them in terms of operation or sensitivity. While leaning the stick to access under dig it is necessary to pay attention that the target window is pointed directly at the laser.

    Handy and easy to use.

    Operated easily right out of the case. Receiver batter door a little difficult to open. Have not yet calibrated or attempted other features or limit of range. but has been excellent for leveling soil for a foundation and setting leach lines. The auto-leveling is performed in just a few seconds and then it is up and spinning.

    Bosch laser

    The pros: compact tripod and stick. The laser levels up in good time and works well. The only problem I have with the whole system is the receiver is to sensitive and there’s very little difference in the adjustment

    I only used the tool once for a barn pad. It worked well. The 9 volt battery had to be replaced.

    Good quality laser transit

    I bought it primarily for home and yard projects. It is super easy to setup and the laser beam reaches a good distance with the included receiver. I feel like this was a good purchase.

    Site topographic survey

    Easy to setup with auto-leveling. I used the laser receiver to record the existing grades for about 2-acres. It took more time to grid off the site than to record the the grades with the laser. I recorded about 250 spot grades in about 8 hours. Great accuracy over a long distance. I shot grades over about 300 feet distance with no issues. An eye level would have been a good tool to help set the laser at an elevation that would capture a specific grade as a rough datum point.

    Pretty Damn Good

    The laser is tight and accurate. I use it primarily when setting concrete forms and so far have shot distances up to ~100 ft. Bosch has always been reliable and efficient when it comes to their laser levels (Ive bought 3) and corded tools like their table saw, worm drive, etc.

    Good laser, receiver is lacking

    Awesome value, but when shooting grade the receiver window is to small and is hard to get an exact reading without bouncing from low to high.

    I can find it

    I have o say that finding this unit on E Bay was a god send. A friend Of mine has one a little bit bigger but this one was enough for me I was able to use it and it did everything that I wanted it to do. Should you need a Rotary Laser Level this on is the ticket. You will find nothing any better than this unit from the Bosch company.
