Best fishing line cutter
I fish as much as a professional fisherman does, maybe more. I make my own walleye rigs etc. and have used all kinds of different line cutters. I found for most of the time just simple nail clippers work best for me. The problem with nail clippers is they don't last too long, especially on new type braided lines. I seem not to be able to throw away that old nail clipper and end up with a dozen pair of them in my boat or tackle box, none of them any good. I purchased this new clipper from Boomerang, and it's the best tool I have used to cut any type of line. It cuts like a hot knife through butter. I ordered the one without the light. I don't need the light and don't want to worry about the battery or corrosion. If your like me just about the time you would need a light it wouldn't work anyway. One of the best tools to cut braid
Ive been searching for months for scissors or a tool that cuts 20 and 30 pound braid with ease and could not find it until i got this tool. Best fishing line cutter period.
This line cutter go with me every time I go fishing. It is the handiest little gadget on my boat. It works great, is always handy when I clip it to my belt loop and is safe because it closes up with no sharp points or blades to cut you. I have several and have given them to some of my friends. Must have!

works great
I bought one for cutting braided line and when it got here I was so impressed with it that I ordered two more for my friends. The cutters were very sharp and it cut through braid with no fraying, it also cut through heavy mono and anything else that was on my reels. The ultimate fishing tool
As an avid fisherman who spends time on the water trying to catch a fish of a lifetime the boomerang tool is just the ticket to have when fishing with braided and mono lines. Braided line especially is not the easiest line to cut without a good cutting tool and the boomerang fits that bill and with the retractable lanyard it is at you finger tips when you need it. Very Handy

Sure beats nail clippers
If you use nail clippers to cut tag ends of line, you need to hang them around your neck to keep from losing them, but don't make a bad cast and get them tangled in your line-birdnest!! put a "D" ring on them and hang from your belt.
