Light, solid, steady
Replace a ball head with geared head just for the sake of TS-E lens. Leveling the camera is now a walk in the park. Even with a tele mounted at nodal point, there's no creep at all. There's no way to set all axis too loose mode, so you'll lose the fluidity of ball head.
