Very good control surface, for MIDI or for Lightroom!
Works great with MIDI2Lr as physical controls for Lightroom! The knobs are all super smooth and the whole device feels solid. I haven't used it for musical instrument control as much yet, but it works very well for that, too.

Beatstep, I use it on every patch
I like the beatstep because it is simpler and quicker to set up than the Beatstep Pro. I have both and use both but I will never part with my simple beatstep sequencer. One of the better things that Arturia has made.

It's a controller/sequencer
Not bad for starting out though the pro is much better. One con I have is portability. It needs USB to power, no batteries. I would have to use a usb battery pack.
