Definitely a boost
I have a roof over metal roof and signals are hard to get in when not near a window. Using this repeater and aiming the directional antenna to the right tower, I can usually got from -120 to -105 increase sometimes -90 depending on where I am in relation to the interior antenna. The 4G LTE signal strength on my AT&T and Tmobile were at 2 bars originally and now with the booster, from almost to full strength. Things to change, I would rather have connectors at the antennas than it being hardwired into the antenna. So now if I change the interior antenna to an omni ceiling mount, I have to get new wiring instead of utilizing what I have.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Occasion

Works but beware!
This does really work. You just need to do a signal check around your home or business. If you can't get a better signal outside high up within 50 ft of the spot you put your inside antenna then it won't work for you. I also suggest purchasing an upgrade on your inside antenna. This one is good for 15 to 20 ft. I use to barely get 4g in a couple places inside my home. Now as long as I'm in range of my indoor antenna I get 4g 3 bars rain sleet or snow. Good buy cause I hate buffering so much I don't even buff my car or like buff girls. Don't even like the word rough cause it rhymes with buff or tuff that's how I spell it and definitely don't like handcuffs. That's a whole different story. LolAchat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Occasion

Plug and play
Since I already had my antennas set up from the old two channel unit this replaced it was easy to swap out. Having had repeaters for many years I know that this is a good unit. Remember they get hot. From one bar to three-four.
I’ve been using my cell signal booster now for a couple weeks and can say it does work. I’ve gone from one Tmobile bar to three to full four bars if I’m close to the indoor antennae. I only use the small whip base antennae for indoor, so back rooms I’m at two bars. My house has a small hill behind in line with the Tmobile tower that blocked the cell signal. I used the old TV antennae mast plus two more 4’ sections bought at the local hardware store to lift the antennae about 15 feet above my house roof, aimed at the nearest cell tower. Be sure to use cellmapper website and find what band and frequency your tower is before ordering an antennae, my Tmobile tower is band 12 and 2. Great fix for Rogers cell phone signal problems.

Works Great
I bought this because I had really bad service in my basement because we are down in a bit of a hill from the tower - which is probably about 1.5 miles away. With the included antenna I was able to pick up the tower and get decent service in my basement. What is really nice about this particular one is that it supports most, if not all, of the bands (2, 4, 17) that I have seen used with Cricket. So I plan on buying another outdoor antenna and cable and using it when camping off the beaten path. Works great!! Easy to use.
This one worked well. I just barely got one bar outside and now I can get two to three bars inside within a couple feet of the booster.
