awesome but overpriced
I'm not into the whole drone seen but this is a milestone in star wars toy universe. The feeling any star wars fan will get when they figure out the controls and take flight in the millennium falcon is satisfied nostalgia. Can't help but have a smile the whole time you play with this toy. Keeping that in mind, it's a toy and $100 is to much for this toy, and knowing air hogs just used the foundation of their $50 quad copter and added a foam mold of Han Solos ship and decided to charge double because of the new movie and Christmas just shows that it's overpriced. It's an indoor toy, unless there is absolutely no wind or a breeze outside. The foam body is durable and can take a good crash but don't even come close to a light bulb or it's vaporized. Star Wars fan must have...
This was a gift for my 10 yr old nephew and he loves it. It does a have a bit of a learning curve for the younger ones. But once you get the hang of it, it's a lot of fun. Great at first...and then not at all...
My son is 7 years old and absolutely LOVED this until after several flights, he started noticing the charge didn't seem to last very long, just a few minutes. Then it didn't work at all after the built in charging plug broke off in the piece it was plugged into. That is the part that's apparently not durable. On the other hand, Its very light and the body seems durable being that it's made of foam and very fun to learn how to fly. My son couldn't wait for the next chance to fly it every time the charge ran out. He loved it so much, and so did us parents, that we are really hoping to give it another chance. Best Gift EVER!

Lightweight and super cool
If you like star wars you will definitely like this item. I think it appeals to more then one group type. Children like because it is a toy that really flies. Adults like it (especially those star wars nerds fans) because it is a reality come true, "I'm flying the falcon!" Only down side is the limited flying time and the long recharge time. Remote control Melinum Falcon
It's lots of fun but it takes practice just like any remote control flyer, but it's pretty easy. You have to use the remote control to charge the drone but you can hook up a charging cable to your remote control. I recommend this product..Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

Difficult to control.
You're better off if you have some prior experience with radio-controlled aircraft. This unit is extremely crashworthy. At first, you're going to run it into the ceiling, run it into the walls, and have it hit the floor pretty hard.
