Not quite what was expected
Based off the photo and what was received, it seems like two different kinds of the ROG 8. What is pictured is the international release with a GLHF above the ROG logo. What was received is the Chinese Tencent Games ROG 8, which has all the same specs but no automatic support updates and no RGB logo on the back. Paying $800 for what's still normally a $1000+ phone I am still satisfied.

Worth the price
Great phone and does everything it's supposed to. Was odd that it came in Chinese. But I just reset it and all was good
