4 family fun
If you are getting back into the hobby or just getting started , this is the track you want if you are after a 4 lane layout . Will not find a better 4 lane home track for the money . When my 5 year old daughter wants to race just turn the power down to beginner and she has a blast . Turn it up to the next notch and teach my son about electricity and car maintenance ( he is currently studying in his science class ) .... then all the way up on the power for me and my friends to run some serious 4 lane fun . I am adding more tracks to build a bigger layout . My only complaint is that I only have room for a 5x9 table lol .... a lot of fun .Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

Greatest fun!
Gives me and the boys a chance to really get together and have some fun. It's a really realistic racing experience 4 boys and a very good introduction to how cars work. These little cars have real rubber tires real motors; gearboxes. The controllers give a great eye hand coordination lesson and this is just fun all around. Plenty of tracks as we have set up our own tracks not listed in the 18 that come with the set! I have been teaching the boys to put everything back and it's place just like it was when we open the box so that possibly we can keep it for years and perhaps they will introduce this very same toy to their children!

great fun for the whole family and friends
I highly recommend this race set for anyone over the age of six years old. Gets the kids away from the TV and video games. Hard to tell who has the most fun the kids or the adults, even teenagers enjoy this set. The addition of the power supplies that can be toned down for beginners was a great idea. slot car track
track is easy to work with. lots of options. Love the tri power pack option. Kids can play all day and not crash but if you turn it up to pro then you get the speed factor. Controllers are a little weak. So I am buying back up controllers. I did add four 15 inch track from autoworld to the layout so that I had a 12 foot straight away for the mega g+ cars to reach their top speed. I have been racing HO slot cars for over 40 years. Aurora ( now Tomy, Racemasters) AFX HO slot cars, track are the very best you can buy. What I really like about the new track is that you can buy a adapter track to connect the old Aurora AFX track to the new style AFX track. Awesome track! Many layout options. Cars are very fast and handle great. 3 different power options on plug makes it easy for children and super fast for the experienced. It's a pretty good track.
You really have to have a good place to set it up. If not you'll have problem's with the track staying together. It's a good 2 lane track but i've had problem's with trying to run it as a 4 lane track. Win set up right it is fast and the car's stick to the track pretty well. The only car's that work well on it are the g+ car's. I'm getting ready to update the car's and i'll update my review afterword's. Impressive, many faceted Race set.
Nice track for reliving childhood. The instructions state Do not attempt installation on carpet which I promptly ignored remembering the small sets i received when I was a kid. I got it to work but this is a large set so plan on a permanent install. My plans are in progress as we speak and the set is cleaned and back in the box. I had great success concentrating on one of the Box stock cars which came with the set. Simple tire treatments do wonders for the drive ability and the speed of the cars. Lower the car as much as possible and they become smokers. I'm planning on a table to accommodate several different layouts and they could have done a much better job on the attachment holes. They're little bitty things making the counter sinking a pain in the rump. Overall though it's the most track with the most power they sell. Simple to setup and hours of fun with friends!
My dad got me a small set for Christmas when I was 12 or 13 years old, I still have it. I am not going to disclose my age, but this was quite a few years ago, all of 30 years at least. This is hours of fun with family and friends, and you don't need internet connection to play. Top notch race set.
