    More info

    I purchased this 6 3/4" diameter strainer as a replacement cover for a 50-60 yr old bell trap floor drain that is already installed, and of which I do not know the manufacturer or model. Here are some additional dimensions for anyone purchasing this as a replacement cover, as this would have been helpful in my situation, and it is not readily available from the mfr: Top diameter 6 3/4" Top thickness 1/4" Bell depth 1 3/8" Bell I.D. 3 3/8" Bell O.D. 3 3/4" Overall depth 1 5/8" It turns out this will not work with my drain, as the bell portion is not deep enough to reach the 'moat' in the drain to complete the water trap. My guess is that my floor drain is from a different manufacturer. Given shipping costs plus return shipping, I will try to make it work rather than return it, and I believe I can do so by adding a length of PVC to help it reach the drain trap. Hope this extra info helps anyone who is looking at this strainer to replace their own rusty old drain cover.

    Great drain cover

    This is a well made and heavy duty drain cover. The drain holes are perfectly round and clear of obstructions. The diameter measurement of 6-3/4 inches is precise.
