Good low cost Tap and Die set
This set is good enough for the occasional requirements I have. Came as advertised, but will not hold up to commercial requirements. Rated a 4 overall.

Just trash
I assume the coating is nothing more than gold color paint. I'm a stationary engineer and have been properly using tap and dies for 20+ years I tried two different taps on standard steel. Although correctly drilled and oil use, both taps began to strip after two threads. Waste of money!
