3DR Solo
I had looked into all Quadcopters before deciding to buy the 3DR Solo. The 3DR seems to have the best of everything: Features, upgrades, technical support and quick turn around for the developers to fix anything that may need to be addressed (I only contacted them to see how long it would take for them to reply). 3DR replied rapidly, others I'm still waiting to hear from. This quadcopter is great for the beginner and the advanced right out of the box after the initial setup. I was taking pictures and videos using the third party GoPro Hero 4 Black camera that I attached first to the quadcopter, and then to the Gimbal in different flights. What a difference that Gimbal does to making a professional looking video. Scenes you would have to have many hours of training on are built in as defaults, letting the beginner's have videos that look professional. I love this for the photography, being able to setup the shot I want before taking a picture, or setting up the shot I want using the cable cam. Incredible
This is an incredible piece of technology. It may be the most expensive drone out there but in my opinion well worth it. My only complaint is the gimbal should be a standard part of the unit, not an extra. The drone would be useless without, it really is a must have. It is easy to use, well made, and for someone who has never flow a RC type product and have it do what it does and make me look good with the video and images it takes says tons for the technology of this product. Great product. Easy to fly and use for photography.
Although this particular package was not a "great" bargain by today's market. It was a bargain compared to a couple of years ago. I highly recommend this product, but one must be aware of market prices when purchasing similar "bargains". Smarter than a pig
They say pigs are smarter than dogs, and this quad is smarter than a pig. I'm pleased with the features this drone has for it's price. Though some upgrades were needed for a more stable flight, out of the box this drone met my expectations.

Lots of drone for the money
Great drone for the beginner and the advanced pilot packed full of features. Take off and landing is fully autonomous which makes crashing much more difficult and should add to vehicles longevity. Only bad con is, vehicle will not fly unless vehicle sees enough GPS satellites which can take a few minutes, buildings and trees will make the GPS wait even longer to lock.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

Awesome drone packs a high budget punch with low cost pricing

This drone is absolutely awesome!! Good product and an excellent price for the money. Hands down one of the top 3 drones on the market.
This drone performs very well. I lost two drone prior to this purchase, and both of those were due to a faulty return home feature. I tested the range on this drone, and depending on your location I did get the mileage as advertised, but what impressed me the most is when the drone loses contact with the remote, it immediately goes into the fail-safe mode and returns home. It even gives you an indication when contact with the remote has been regained. I love that you can see how long the battery last on the remote so that you can maximize your flying time. Great for the price, understand limitations
3DR will offer no warranty or support on this drone as it’s been discontinued. The app really doesn’t work anymore so support is 100% user based through open solo and any similar software. That said, as long as there is a diy community interested it’s a great drone with a lot of capabilities for cheap. DJI is quickly outpacing the technology and drones are getting cheaper so unless you want to tinker or are specifically seeking the ability to customize your software this drone may not be for you.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Occasion
