Quality copy
The 40 bucks one which says canon and comes with a canon box is a replica. Very good replica still replica. Works the same way. Just get cheaper one instead. 10 bucks have the same display screen and function is good enough.

Works as advertised.
The unit barely looked used. No batteries installed, but it takes the industry standard CR2032 and is easy to install. I recommend watching one of the available YouTube videos on its use. But it's a far cry from my simple remote trigger switch!

Not Canon Brand, but Good Copy
The copy Canon TC-80N3 does everything that the Original Brand make does. Not as good a quality. Manual is a bad, but usable copy. Connection is not precise and hard to remove. Otherwise works the same. Not sure how they get away with copywrite laws but much cheaper for same features.
