Overall great product
Great product . It’s easy to install took about 5mins overall.. But what was not mentioned . Your keys need to be cut and programmed $150 due to the fact I only had one master key and u need both original keys in order to program any new ones .Plus then there is no way to turn the remote start on without taking it to a dealer for Activision 20 min job but the shop will charge you 1 hour labor what ever there cost is $160 . Warm in the winter, cool in the summer.
Works great. Super easy install. Only difficult part was getting it programmed with Forscan. However, I’m not a tech guy, so it was probably more difficult for me. I’ve never had remote start, but it was totally worth the price!Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Neuf

11-16 f250 remote start best deal in town
Hand down the best deal there is on any remote start, let alone the factory Oem unit, with a ford key, I then added a two pack of key fobs, so three key kit, 163 dollars US., ford factory new unit., I’m still amazed, it’s hundreds of dollars to add this option at my dealer, plus the keys. Remote Start Works Great!
I purchased this kit for my 2012 Ford F150. I pulled down the glove box and installed the antenna module receiver and had the key cut at Walmart for $2. Since I only had one key when I bought the truck used, I programmed the new key with Forscan. Everything works like it should! Quick how-to so you can save money.
This worked great. Steps to make it work: 1. Purchase this set, comes with everything you need. 2. Install the antenna behind the glove box (YouTube videos show how). 3. Get the keys cut at any regular old store... Ace Hardware did it for me for $2 each. 4. Get an OBD II adapter, install it and enable remote start in Forscan. 5. You will need to program the keys to START the truck if you don't have 2 spares using Forscan. If you do have 2 spares, look on YouTube for quicker instructions... having 2 spare keys means no need for Forscan. 6. Program keys for door UNLOCK (YouTube or anywhere has this... very simple). 7.
