Works great but it's tricky
I bought this piece in hopes that it would fix my "AT" and "Check Engine Light" errors on the dash. The car was also jerking in and out of gear randomly and would be stuck out of gear. Obviously check the transmission fluid but the real issue here was this module that basically controls the functionality of the transmission. It's a bit tricky to get to and the spaces are kind of tight but it's basically right under the battery and battery housing. Then there are three bolts holding this thing on to the transmission. Took about 2 hours because I didn't have the correct tools but I was able to get er out of there eventually and the new one in. Once the car was back together, you hear all of the computers running again (loud as hell) and all of the lights go away and this car is shifting like brand new, better than when I got it. So before you shell out thousands on a trans or just scrap the car, spend a few hundred and this should do the trick

Great value. Quality part
No one in Phoenix could find the part. On back order with Mazda for 2 months. All they could find was 1 TCM from a junk yard with a 30 day warranty. The part I purchased has a 1 year warranty. Happy I did this
Was hesitant to change this part out myself, but I'm glad I went for it. It was a little tricky, but not too hard, took me about 1.5 hours. Found a great YouTube video that walked me through it. money saver
installed the TCM today and the AT light and the reverse kick is gone. so far its working great, better then the mechanic who put a tcm and over charged me. I paid 700 dollars 400 for the part and 300 for labor; never again this time I did it myself.Achat vérifié : OuiÉtat : Occasion
