    Good tires at a low price for

    These are good trailer tires for an occasional use trailer, or a rough use where damage is a problem. If the trailer was high use, I would pay the extra for radials. One note on these tires, they are shipped from overseas, banded tight and squished. When you get them the beads are nearly touching. If you mount like that, you won't be able to get them to take air. The solution is- put an old inner tube in the tire (not on the wheel) and air it up to get the tire to spread out - alternate, cut 4 pieces of wood to wedge the tire beads apart-- then leave them out in the summer sun for a few hours, or in winter, in a warm place. Then they will air easily after mounting. (of course this problem is moot if you were going to use a tube anyway) My tires went on a hay rake- used 15" tires are hard to find, especially smaller ones--and if found, cost about as much as these new ones.

    SHOULD'A BOUGHT THIS A LONG TIME AGO

    I needed a spare tire for my utility trailer and bought 2 different "well used" tires from a tire store and paid $15 each to have them mounted and balanced. They had to be constantly aired up and both finally dry rotted and would no longer hold air pressure. I finally wised up and bought this tire and should have to start with. I am going to purchase a spare cover to protect it from the sun. It is a small investment when you have a flat and have to leave a 2k$ lawn tractor sitting on the side of the road in a trailer because you didn't have a serviceable spare!

    Great quality in an inexpensive tire

    I selected this tire based on the load rating and the tread pattern that very closely matches the existing spare on a trailer. This is a great tire for the price. The sidewalls are firm, the bead is heavy, and the tread is plenty deep. I would certainly buy another.

    Difficult to mount

    The tire was so compressed that it was very difficult to get it to seat. We had to prop the tire open with 2X4s and leave it in the sun to get it to stretch enough for the beads to seat. Otherwise, it seems to be OK but we really haven’t put any miles on it yet.
