Was shipped very fast and got in a few days. 12-13mm I'd say is your max thickness for a good fit. The clamping force is near death grip. There is a lock which works well but the clamp is so strong hard to believe you'd need. It's metal art work with a quality finish and great condition and appearance. There are markings to show how the locks work although not shown in listing pictures. No negatives!
