KNOCK-OFF FILTER. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
This product is a knock-off, not a genuine Samsung product. Please don’t buy it. Lowe’s has the original Samsung filter on sale for $40.99. Right from beginning when I opened up the box I noticed coloring was off it wasn’t pure bright compared to filter I took out from refrigerators.since I had purchased two of them, I went and changed it anyway.It was very easy to install it fitted in rather nicely but over night water leaked all over in drawers and on floor after cleaning up.changed to second filter next day same result.Now I have two fake filters I can’t use. I guess you get what you pay for. I paid $26.65 with SH. Now $26.65 in vain + I had to buy new GENUINE SAMSUNG filter($40.99)+cleaning up twice+the time and aggravation on top of that. I had to read the directions several times as it was my first time installing them. It took a while. I think a short video would be very helpful. All is working well. Thanks for checking on it. Looks good.

Seems authentic! Installed very easily!
I was worried about whether it's genuine or not, but looks like it is because it had the authenticity magnetic tab thing and it passed the test. It installed flawlessly in the fridge without any leaks. So far so good.

Great product just the wrong size for my frig. It works but the correct filter is a DA97-17376B which I only found when I removed the original filter to replace it.
