After replacing the hood latch with this one the message went away and car alarm hasn't went off by itself. The process has been great and no problems so far.

They did respond when I contacted them and offered a refund but I told them I’d rather keep them so I could leave negative feedback warning others. They either don’t understand the difference between Direct Factory Replacement [DFR] made in China blades, and OEM blades that were made in the UK, or they are hoping we don’t. Anyhow - use caution. Made in China.
