Bringing together studio recordings that have never before been available, with five full early 1950s albums, never before collected in one set! Included are collaborations with: Tommy Dorsey, Guy Lombardo, Russ Morgan, Bing Crosby, Gordon Jenkins, Alfred Apaka, Al Jolson, Dick Haymes, Danny Kaye, Dan Dailey and Desi Arnaz. "Sailor" and "Good Night and Good Dreaming" - their very rare tracks recorded in London, England in 1961 are debuting on CD. This comprehensive set with an introduction in the liner notes by Patty Andrews herself! Musically this marvelous set includes ballads, swing, hymns, Western tracks, Hawaiian songs, standards and seasonal material.

    Item was as advertised & arrived well packaged. As many other reviewers stated, it took a week to get tracking information, then 6 more days before the shipping company (DHL, in this case) received the item, and then just one day to be delivered. The listing estimated delivery between 3-8 days; it took 14. No correspondence in the meantime. I'd checked the seller's feedback before ordering, however, so I expected it. If you can wait a couple weeks to receive your order, this seller is fine.

    The title "Some Sunny Day" is simply one of the Andrews Sisters' lesser known singles.

    The CD collection is AWESOME. It contains some really RARE records by Patty Andrews solo ("All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth" and "Orange Colored Sky" )with Danny Kaye, and such Andrews Sisters rarities as "Stars Are The Windows Of Heaven"and "Dimples And Cherry Cheeks" with Guy Lombardo. The selections are aimed at the late '40s and the 1950s, which is why I bought it. Finally, the set ends with one of the Andrews' last single releases "Sailor(Your Home Is The Sea)", which is TERRIFIC, with a whistling background (1961). Don"t miss this one!!
