Helper for my wife
Many people in one way or another will be affected by Alzheimer's. Unfortunately they will never receive some of the instructions that my wife and I have learned in our battling early-onset Alzheimer's. It is rarely brought up that you can slow down the disease by constantly challenging the brain of the person who has Alzheimer's. With early-onset there is usually a much more rapid decline and one may become a vegetable in only 4 or 5 years. My wife has had early-onset Alzheimer's for over 8 years now and she can still drive. She doesn't go far but she still knows how to make the car work. She uses her smart phone every day and also uses her iPad daily. She recently taught herself how to sell on eBay. Great fun
I bought this as a Christmas present for my 6 year old grandson. He immediately started playing with it after opening it as a present. Watching him playing and having fun got the whole family into playing. We all had fun.

Lightweight with great fixtures
I remember when this game first came out after the movie "Close Encounters of the third kind" and now that it is playing on Cable, the music in the movie still reminded me of this game. That is how I/we came about to purchase it. Looks like fun and my son and I enjoy playing it when we can. GREAT GAME! :-)

Good version of the Simon game. It is more like the original from the 70's than other smaller ones.
Great version of the Simon game. It is more like the original from the 70's than the other smaller versions available at retail stores. The tones are slightly more melodious than the discordant ones from the current small retail version. The original was still the best for sounds.

My 7 year old grandson had this at the top of his desired gift list for Christmas. He was thrilled with it and played it (when he could get it from his older brothers) until several adults asked him to quit. I've always enjoyed it, and it's a good learning and memory tool.
