I usually don't leave reviews but this seller went above and beyond. I messed up my shipping address first and they were fast to respond. Then the order arrived and my item looked brand new including being wrapped in a sealed plastic like it was straight from the factory. I would absolutely buy from this seller again. Excellent Choice!
So this is my first smart speaker and display. I've never seen the benefit for someone that lIves alone and is willing to get it of the chair to turn on a light;-) But the price of this bundle got me to see what all the hype is about. I've placed the display in the kitchen and the mini next to my bed. I've learned to group the two and can now play music at both ends of the house without blasting the home stereo. I've set up plugs with lights in all my rooms and while I'm certainly capable of manually turning on the lights, it is so much more convenient to just say "hey Google, turn on the house lights". It will take me a while to learn all I can do with this bundle but I've decided my 60yo house will become smarter over time. This platform was very easy to learn some basics. And now the ... A nice alarm system, simple and quite easy to install. Wished for a little more features like setting a chime for door of your choice, advising that a doror or window is opened before accepting command to arm.

Not for streaming home cameras.
Bought in hopes of using for my Foscam, SIMCAM, Reolink, and Teckin cameras around our propery. The Nest cannot stream for more than a minute or so, before error messages appear. We have 1200Gb speed, never have issues with streaming any of these cameras otherwise. The Teckin actually is able to watched, for longer periods. But trying to "sync" cameras also gives error messages (despite logging in and out to re-connect, as the app suggests). So for a little data center (2010 cell phones are more capable) with poor speaker quality is what you'd like to spend $200 on, well you'll LOVE this device. Could have been better! C'mon Google
The price of the bundle was good, but the execution of the display seems like hit and miss. If you have the 1st generation, i don't think buying this display will give you any excitement..It offers no super functionalities , and the sleep sensing functionality is awfully painful to calibrate if you even manage to do so. Requires some tape measure and few engineering tools maybe! I'm yet to find a way to calibrate this to get the advantage of sleep sensing. Maybe look for a wearable tech it would be easier and more accurate. This gimmick is just not worth it and this could have had a camera too. But you are paying a premium for basically an assistant with display so you can watch YouTube! Can't really recommend this for people excited about the tech involved. C'mon Google, you could have ... Another thing, the quick gestures is just toooooo weak, you can literally touch the screen to get those sensors grab what you're trying to do, you'll end up using your hands because it's way easier than getting a successful quick gesture working. Overall, buy it if you want, just don't expect magic. Bundling them was a good music listening experience, they seem to do that well at least!
