PopCap Games' hit "tower defense" strategy game where anthropomorphic flowers square off against reanimated corpses comes to the DS in Plants vs. Zombies. "Adventure" mode finds players strategically placing weapon-wielding plants to cut down 26 different kinds of comical undead, including zombie pole-vaulters, zombie dolphins, "Zomboni" drivers, and the ever-dangerous zombie bobsled team.<br><br>Zombies come in all different strengths and speeds, so gamers must place a variety of different plants in strategic areas to ensure that no zombies may munch on the delicious brains that dwell just within the front door. Luckily, players are armed with an arsenal of more than 40 different plants, including pea shooters, cherry bombs, and potato mines. But greens and seeds are in short supply, and rolling fog, the setting sun, and backyard swimming pools only add to the challenge, so gamers must be judicious when doling out vegetable justice.<br><br>Players can also try their hand at "Puzzle," "Survival," and "Zen Garden" game modes, and DS-exclusive mini-games include "Heat Wave," "Homerun Derby," "Bomb All Together," and a vertical scrolling shooter mode called "Air Raid."

    Best Game Ever

    I bought this game for my twin grandsons for their 6th birthday. They were thrilled! They have been playing it almost non stop since they received this for their birthday. I think it is one of the best games ever because I had also purchased them the Angry Birds vs. Star Wars one too and they play Plants vs. Zombies a LOT more than the other one. Do not hesitate to purchase.

    Hide your brains!

    This game is a classic. And this version is great. Back before EA bought popcap games this was the pinnacle of tower defense. It still holds up very well today. Hope you got the slipcover version!

    lawnmower with great features

    well I as a parent liked this game I did played it myself but the game was for my kids, I bought my kids plants vs zombies for xbox 360 in the past and they'd loved it until my 1 year old son broke it so I bought it again for xbox 360 and my 5 yr old wanted it on dsi so I bought it and he loves to play it
