I do not set the shipping costs. EBay gives me just enough money to ship the item from Wisconsin to their Illinois shipping hub. Any issues with eBay International Shipping costs or how ridiculously expensive someone thinks they are would have to be addressed with eBay directly. I also don't pick the carrier for the International orders. I am glad that the item wasn't damaged. The seller was very responsive and offered to refund the entire purchase. I told the seller that I could probably repair the part myself and I would be happy if they just refunded half the purchase price. They still refunded me the full amount. Overall a very positive experience and I would gladly purchase from them again.
