Then you get a message a few hours later "sorry on holiday and we dont have them in stock order cancelled" there is no wonder they have so few sales from setting account up in 2019. As an independent female jeweller I don't sell mass market items but I’m surprised you found data about how many items per year I’m supposed to sell in my business category. I sell outside of eBay too, so be sure I sold more items. As I sell valuable items, I prefer to stay away from entitled customers who manage to cause trouble even when I don’t sell to them. My £1k item was also cancelled after payment. I didnt receive any seller communication on this. You are free to think whatever you like, but the reality is that I am selling high value items making little profit just to be nice to people and I cannot always meet customers' unreasonable expectations. Better customer service is offered by expensive brands. For £1k items, this is ‘frustrating’ for a buyer; they don’t have funds to purchase elsewhere whilst waiting days for money to return.
