    The seller shipped it nearly as soon as I bought them ups delivered them a day late but that isn't the sellers fault. The packaging was great and protected the boots. The boots had some damage as shown in the pictures but nothing too major and they were like really cheap (as in the price I paid not quality) for snakeskin boots. Overall would buy from them again

    One of two had bad zwave

    I bought Two of these in March and just got to installing them, however I had a problem. The first one installed, seemed to work fine, and even paired via z-wave. However, it wouldn’t function correctly. It wouldn’t share info with my hub, lock or unlock, or even load entry codes. I thought I was doing something wrong so I tried again several times by removing and re adding. Same problem. I even tried a different brand of hub, similar problem. Connected but didn’t show proper info or work. I finally tried swapping for the second lock. This one works fine. Loads codes, locks, unlocks, all good. The first must be bad. These are refurbs, but I’ll try to get an exchange. By the way, I’m using a Ring alarm system. The other one I tried on the bad lock was Samsung SmartThings but I didn’t ...

    Disappointing

    I should have read the product description better but the extra features like being able to lock and unlock from your phone requires an additional device that I do not have. Keypad does not have a light so it’s hard to punch in the numbers when it’s dark. The lock I received had a big crack in the main plastic part but that did not affect the functionality. Biggest complaint is that the batteries run out VERY quickly. I’ve had to replace the batteries every week since it’s been installed. My prior lock lasted 2 years before I had to change the batteries. Not impressed with this lock!

    Good quality lock but...

    I always get Kwikset for its quality products. This one in particular works good but, I connected it to my ring alarm and went through 4 sets of batteries in 2 weeks. I plugged a WiFi extender 5 feet from it and still burned the batteries in 4 days. I ended up disconnecting it from my ring alarm so the batteries can last a little longer. I already had a non smart kwikset deadlock so I guess I have 2 now. This 888 It's not worth it.

    50/50

    I purchased 2 of these locks, one for the front door and one for the garage. The one at the front door works great and the one at the garage has already burned through 2 sets of batteries. I guess I will just end up using the garage lock as a standard key lock. A little bit of a bummer.

    A must with a Ring Alarm Base Station

    Heavy, sturdy construction and super easy re-keying if you have existing Kwikset locks. Integrates in seconds with your Ring Alarm Base Station if you have one, giving you remote lock/unlock capabilities and notifications. It even gives you the option to set your codes to match your alarm codes, as well as disable the alarm when unlocking the door via authorized code. Unlike some other Kwikset keyless locks, you can select the auto-lock time from 30 seconds to 3 minutes (the 914 can only do 30 seconds), giving you peace of mind. Completely satisfied with the purchase and considering buying another for the garage!
