This product was shipped carefully packaged in a bubble mailer and arrived in perfect condition. There was a nice "thank you" sticker placed on the mailer too. This item was exactly as pictured and described—brand new and it came with the slip cover shown in the product images. A realistic WW II movie
I was born a few years after the period depicted in the movie. I have long known that Midway was a significant and important World War II victory but I did not know the details. I thought the movie captured the major intelligence that allowed the US to have its force positioned well. While torpedoes were an unproven and a poor weapon direct bombing Japanese aircraft carriers worked while needing great courage and know how on the part of pilots. I thought the depiction of both American and Japanese seamen and officers had veracity. The immense courage of the combatants came through in the harrowing battle.I was born a few years after the period depicted in the movie. ''MIDWAY'' 2018
Saw this on the ''A.M.C'' channel last year in December. Great film. Better than the 1975 original. The film tells a more accurate version of the events that happened even though it had fictional characters added to it. I just bought the ''4-k Ultra'' a.k.a ''SUPER HIGH DEFINITION blu-ray today and will see it again except this time for the first time ever i'll see it in high definition.

Great movie. Good example of a great 4K experience. Sound was dynamic,but yet not overwhelming the movie. Guns sounded impressive because they did sound real. Dialogue was not buried as is so often the case. Dark colors in many scenes also enhanced by the 4k. Kudos to director Roland Emmerich for assembling a top drawer cast and a plot that was uncovered in 1985 to explain the strategy involved in the battle of Midway. Great Movie For History Buffs
I'm not a very good/knowledgeable movie critic so I won't leave a lengthy review, there are plenty of those everywhere anyways. All I'll say is that this is a great movie if you prefer historical accuracy instead of the... Pearl Harbor... type of war movies (there's plenty of action in this movie, so don't interpret that as it being boring, it's far from it). One other thing I'll point out is that this movie shows the events unfolding from both the American and Japanese perspectives equally, which I found to be very interesting.I'm not a very good/knowledgeable movie critic so I won't leave a lengthy review, there are plenty of those everywhere anyways.
