I was previously using a version where it hooks on to your vent, but removing it was kind of a hassle, I was afraid I was going to break the flap trying to remove it. This mount makes it easy to remove because all you do is loosen the collar and slide mount off. Built solid, I don't have to worry about breaking. Price was great, have spent more on models that didn't work as well

It also rotates which is a plus. I have a galaxy s24 ultra with a bulky outterbox case and the magnet holds it during bumps and rough rides.
