Nice cost-effective camera.
I've used this to make videos of friends' weddings, church events, and for home videos. The video is good. Variable resolution settings can make even HD videos. There's no integral lighting, but indoor videos still look very crip. Pictures in camera mode, though, aren't much better than cell phone quality. Play back and other menu features are achieved by buttons instead of touch screen. Mounts easily to a tri-pod. There's no wi-fi or bluetooth, so no direct uploading to the internet. (Of course you can directly connect it to your computer via cable, or remove with SD card.) If you're a camera snob then you should probably throw away your money on something more expensive with more bells and whistles to suit your fancy and pocket book. Started Out Fantastic
Started out fantastic. Originally purchased for our teen nephew to use in his A/V class, but after only about 6 months of use the screen went wonky and blacked out. His parents are going to use the warranty to get it fixed or replaced. When working it gives great image quality, excellent sound and captures light appropriately. His last camcorder was odd in that it had a sort of tunnel vision and a yellow tint. Not so with the Samsung F90 HD Video Camcorder 52x, it has clarity in audio, visual and has long battery life. Nice small video camera
This camera is really good and takes good video. The zoom is nice. The only issue I've had in taking pictures is using the zoom while taping and getting the right zoom. It easy enough to use for our 10 year old.

Really nice..
Works great! Super good image quality. Very light weight. Too light in my opinion but I'm a big guy. My wife loves the light weight. We have two and they work awesome. Picture quality is second to none.

Small, lightweight, a bit dated but good on a budget
Good, small and lightweight. But limited to 720p so the technology is dated. Also the mico-HDMI port is not very standard- would have preferred a full size HDMI port.
