      This thing is the best!

      I love my light. Most of the hood lights on the tool trucks are box stores have a built in battery or cord which gets in the way working on stuff. When it flashes telling me my battery is low, I just slap in a new one. I find the lower setting best, I got about 10 hours of continuous light from the generic 9ah batteries you can buy. It does a great job filling the engine compartment with light and it's not so intense that you have to avoid looking at at shiny parts. I bought a second one and I don't regret it one bit. The chassis/mount works great and hooks onto even the big trucks and the rubber is holding up great. It's easy to pop the light out of the mount if you need to light up a room or the yard and it stays put when it's attached.

      Overall Good Light

      Milwaukee usually does not disappoint. Once you marry into a brand like power tools you kind of have to continue due to batteries. The light is a big improvement with lighting when working under the hood. It clamps on really well. I knocked one star only because I feel it could have been a bit brighter and longer.

      Love this thing

      I use it so I can have cordless lights in my trailer. Tried using the underhood clamp for this purpose and the light fell after a couple minutes from the ceiling of my trailer and was no worse for the wear, so it seems durable. The underhood clamp is sturdy and highly adjustable and would definitely work if used for its intended purpose. I already want to buy a second one.

      Buy it!

      I am a Snap On guy through and through, and after a lot of back and forth, this Milwaukee light just made more sense. I 100% love it, there are no shadows when working under the light, the battery life is very good, and overall the build quality is very sturdy. Don't worry about it, it's worth it.

      DIY mechanic’s dream

      This light is amazing! I don’t know how I got by without it all these years!!! If you do any engine work and can appreciate beautiful, clear color-corrected light, unhampered by power cords, do yourself a favor and get this. Worth every penny.
