Got one for my 2013 chevy malibu LS and all I did was get the key cut at batteries+ for around $20 and then turned the key to ON for 10 seconds with the key I had (I did not have the original fobbed key) then put the newly cut key in for 10 seconds to ON and all the buttons worked! although my only complaint would be how responsive the key is because sometimes I have to press it multiple times or super hard but it still works!

I also ordered a Shell only fob off of amazon and the quality difference was night and day. Amazons fob was super cheap plastic with a horrible spring and wouldn’t keep the battery pushed in. This Fob feels OEM

Great surprise. I hope I can find someone to cut the keys for me. Bringing your own keys to a locksmith is like bringing your own steak to a restaurant. I would definitely recommend this seller.
