    Shipping was quick. Item was as described. Appropriate value for price. Packaging was less than ideal. Although now apparent damage, the heavy iMac G3 had only two wraps of bubble wrap but left two sides of the computer unprotected. This was placed into an excessively large box full of packing "peanuts" (water soluble not styrofoam fortunately). The computer shifted easily and went to the lowest part of the peanuts. Common issue with shippers. The computer must have packaging better packaging.

    Seriously... AMAZING SELLER! I ordered an iPad Pro 5th gen listed as "fair" condition at an unbelievably low price. This thing was in MINT condition in every way.     Great in my home studio

    I have been recording music at home for over 30 years. I used to use passive monitors along with a power amp, but frequently had rattling and crackling in my speakers. I downsized my studio for simplicity and after doing much research, I decided the Yamaha HS5’s looked like a good fit for my price range. These deliver plenty of volume and clarity for my home studio.... They can go loud enough to feel the vibration and bug the neighbors and my girlfriend . More importantly, they sound wonderful. I put different genres through these from acoustic guitar, rock, electronic to classical. Everything sounded really nice through them. I also thought the bass was just fine in the HS5, some go for the larger HS7’s or 8 because they are worried there won't be enough bass, but those are alot more ...

    Perfect for small home studio

    This monitor has a super clear mid to high end balance. Just be sure to get the HS8S subwoofer if you want any substantial bass.

    Yamaha HS5

    Great studio speakers for an beginner/intermediate user in the studio, I suggest using trs balanced cables to insure the safety of the speakers, they provide a substantial amount of low frequency bass and sustain a higher frequency signals as well, over all the affordability and the quality of this product are great for any studio application, i truly enjoy the crispness of the sound and look forward to upgrading to the hs8 for more power and sound in the future

    Perfect workstation speakers.

    These sound pretty good being as small as they are and they line up perfectly for triangulation when used with a 2 level DAW desk. I would recommend adding the Hs8s sub for extended frequency response.
