    Power Planer

    Words can not describe how well it works. The micro adjustments are great. I have and old craftsman's plane and their is no comparison. to this one. Should have bough this years ago I have a Makita impact drill and their tools are so much better then the DeWalt tools that i have. I bought a set of the HSS blades to use but the blades that are on it work great. If you need a power hand planer this is the one to buy. Thanks Dave:

    Simple and easy to use.

    Hand placement and pressure are key to getting a uniform surface on the wood. Initially, hand is kept to the front to keep front plate level on your wood. As you move planer forward and the blades engage the wood,keep moving forward slowly,and shift your weight to the rearward plate. Do this until your blades are no longer touching the wood. You'll have a uniform surface without any waves or gouges at the end of the run down the lengthy of your wood. Slow and steady pressure. The military kp0800 does a phenomenal job. Less sanding required also.

    Great little planer

    This planer is lightweight so it is very easy to handle.. Depth of cut is also very simple to adjust and the motor has enough power to make planing fast. So fast in fact care must be taken to avoid removing more material than desired.. I used it recently to "true up" the ends of some table legs on the frames of tables I'd made for potting plants. These are 4x4 legs of doug fir so that meant trimming across the grain about a quarter of an inch to bring the tops of the legs in trim with the frames..NO PROBLEM! very fast and easy..

    Love Makita tools

    This planer was almost brand new and never used. Got a good deal and I happy with the deal. It replaces my Bosh planer with a discontinuing switch.
