    Item was lost at first, but seller was happy to to send another and when it arrived as defective they were polite and refunded me quickly and without hassle. Lost some time but seller made it virtually painless. Ship time after reporting it lost was very fast! No external damage either so it appeared to be a good battery at first glance. TL;DR product was defective but seller made it a painless operation.

    Old but work great with linux

    I had an old laptop with an RT3290 wifi card, and recent linux updates just do not like it, also problematic under Windows 10. I replaced it with a new one, twice, same issue. Ugh! So I googled wifi cards known to work without issue under linux and found this one, really cheap and old. So I installed it in the laptop, and it worked with Linux Mint 19 without having to do any software changes. So yes this is old, but the price is great and if you want a wifi card to works with linux without issues, I can confirm this one does that.

    Works great in HP notebooks from 2012-2013

    replaced HP Envy 17 touchsmart and HP Pavilion that use the older Intel centrino single band 2.4GHz wifi modules. What's nice is that these new 62230's modules will work with older HP note BIOS's that blacklist most other replacement wireless modules. Well worth the money to keep an older notebook operational.

    Excellent product, good value for money.

    Used for upgrading the wifi in an older model laptop, dual channel so it also enables the use of the 5G band. Drop in replacement, plug and play. Easy to find drivers on the net for this device.

    Solved need for dual-band wireless in HP Dv7t with upgraded CPU.

    Difficult to get a recommendation for an update on a modified Dv7t. Running a i7-3630QM 2.4GHZ and this works perfectly.
