For that reason, I returned the item at a little over £5. Otherwise, the painting was in good condition and the return was refunded promptly too.

The painting, while not inexpensive when all costs are added up, is an excellent value in my opinion: truly one-of-a-kind, by a talented American Impressionist who traveled widely for his art, and whose technique, subject, and use of color in this piece is so compelling.
