Product Information

The Canon TS-E 24mm Tilt Shift L series lens fits on most Canon digital single-lens reflex cameras and is the ideal accouterment for the avid photographer. This lens has three adjustments that most lenses do not. These include the title, shift, and rotate settings. These elements work on their own or in combination with each other for custom photography. The rotating adjustment moves around up to 180 degrees while the tilt adjusts the focus or perspective, and the shift creates numerous effects. The depth of field is amazing as these lenses allow the photographer to take photographs as close up as 12 inches or panoramic scenes. The lens is manual focus, which will make it easy for the photographer to adjust the image circle to their desired area. The focal length is fixed, and the aperture is f/3.5. This lens is compatible with Canon cameras. The Canon TS-E 24mm lens helps photographers focus on their desired subjects without adding chromatic aberrations or odd effects. Built for the Canon EOS, this lens will help you create the photographs you want. The wide-angle lens can be used indoors or outdoors. It would be ideal for photographers who hike too hard to reach areas to create stunning scenic panoramas. Because it includes the three features, you are able to use this lens to take pictures of products as well. The shift feature allows the photographer to focus on a certain aspect of the scenery, blurring the rest of the image and creating a spectacular picture. This lens fits on most Canon digital cameras. The lens includes a hood and two caps for when the product is not in use. Because it is manual focus, it will not be for everyone. However, you can lock the movement at “0” and use it like any other lens without worrying about additional features. The vignettes and lens flair that some lenses can’t help but create are minimal with the TS-E 24mm lens. This lens will look great on your Canon DSLR, but it is also very well built. The focus ring is a good size and is very easy to find, and the movements the lens makes are extremely smooth. There are tilt, shift and rotate knobs on the outside of the lens that you can adjust according to your photography desires. This awesome lens weighs in at slightly more than 20 ounces, which means it won’t cause the camera to be ultra heavy or too heavy to hold up for longer periods. This is because the primary components in the creation of the lens are aluminum and extra-strength die cast aluminum. When using the adjustment features, lock the knobs in place to fix the movement. The TS-E f/3.5 L shift 12mm in either direction. The tilt and shift features can be oriented in any way you desire and can be locked at -90, 0, and 90 degrees. The knobs will semi-lock (click) every 30 degrees as well. The TS-E 24mm lens can be tilted independently of (or in relation to) the shift movement, which is not a feature on earlier versions of tilt-shift lenses.

    Pristine Tilt Shift

    Looks brand new, all controls function perfectly. Haven't had an opportunity to shoot with it on the interior project I purchased it for but I know the lens well from previous rentals. Have ordered the Rogeti TSE mount so when shifting the lens stays locked to the tripod, and the camera body moves instead.

    Canon Tilt/Shift 24 mm Ver. 1

    This is a good tilt and shift lens for use on my Sony A7MK2 at a resonal price with an autofocus adapter from Comlite. Fun to use, and good picture quality. You just have to adjust aparture with the adapter as long as the lens only has manual focus.

    Great wide angle prime with bonus features

    Obviously used but in great shape. This lens is not only great as a tilt-shift lens, it’s the sharpest, prettiest wide angle lens I’ve yet experienced. I’ve used it a bunch without tilting or shifting at all. I’ve enjoyed being forced to learn manual focus and manage camera shake- and a Canon 5DS with 50.6 megapixels will let you know when you need to work on those! I’ve used the TS-E on architecture, landscape, and portraiture. I now think of it as a fantastic all-around wide angle prime with bonus features.

    True L Lens, Built Like a Tank, Great Image Quality

    I'll keep this short-- primarily because if you're shopping for this lens you have already read all of the other reviews out there. If you have the budget for this lens and will take the time to learn to use it (it's not that difficult), it's an awesome lens.

    Excellent Tilt Shift lens!

    The canon 24mm f3.5 tilt shift is rated higher in sharpness than the Canon 17mm f4 lens due to fall off in the coner of the images and fringing. The canon 24mm f3.5 is also rated higher in sharpness than the nikon 24mm f3.5 due to falloff and fringing in the corners. Very good lens for Architecture and creative focus.
