        Swiss Army Knife of Nav Units.

        A motorcycle GPS has all you’ll want in a nav unit. Weather proof, Large screen, glove friendly, bright easy to see even when the angle of sun makes that funky light. WiFi enabled so it can update while on your network. Bluetooth enabled to easy connect to your phone and headset. Can make routes and download the programmed ride. I had a Garmin 650 for 11 years. It finally gave out. Used Waze on phone for a couple seasons and got stuck out in the sticks with no cell service. Afterward coughed up the cha-Ching for this puppy. Hopefully it will last as long as the 650. I’ll be past 80 yo by then and won’t care about getting lost.

        So far so good! Setup was mostly easy, though pairing of headset worked with Apple AirPods but not my JBL ones. Planning to mount this to my motorcycle today. I like that this unit is ready to add to your motorcycle, with all the hardware you need. I also like the adventurous routing feature to help suggest more interesting/fun routes to your destination.

        GPS For Motor cycles

        This Garmin sumo XT is just what I was looking for , It connected to my Cardo head set right away and my phone . Very easy set , very fast reaction through the screens . Display is very bright and clear , I would recommend this for anyone looking to purchase a GPS for their motorcycle

        Note Garmin Zumo XT are shipped with battery needing charged…which the Quick Start guide doesn’t mention. After an overnight charge I was able to setup and register the unit. Not into a lot of bells and whistles myself…so the Zumo has abilities beyond my expectations or desires. Quality units.

        ZUMO XT

        Garmin zumo XT 5.5" . I have been using OSMAND open maps on a cell phone for several years for motorcycle travel. Decided to get the ZUMO because it has bigger brighter screen and the price was almost $180 off. Also has better address location and other information that is nice to have. For the reduced I feel it was a good purchase. Would not have bought for full MSRP of $499 however.
