Great communication with the seller. Item was as described. But the condition of the item upon receipt was not so good. This is due to handling of the item while being shipped. Not the seller's fault. The item itself has a huge dent in it. Good thing is I bought this item to be built. So no worries. Thank you.

Printer worked great when I first got it, but lately I have had a few issue with it. It keep giving me an error message, and sound like something wrong with the roller when it does that. So far I have been able to fix it. I have to take the cartridge out and roll the roller, and then it goes back to the way it suppose to print. When I get the Error message, I am not able to print. I do like the printer because it is the kind I used at work before I retired, so I am use to this printer.Printer worked great when I first got it, but lately I have had a few issue with it. Small Home office Perfect Printer
This is my new favorite black and white printer. It starts printing in under 7 seconds and quickly kicks out the pages . The print quality is excellent and it has duplex. And for under $100 with a small footprint, it should be your favorite too

Semi-retired workhorse.
It's working well. I think these printers were designed for heavy duty work, or at least moderate. It does light duty easily. We now have 3 of these in our workplace. Generic toner cartridges are available on ebay for about $15, which should work out to less than half a penny per page.

Reliable and Fast Laser Printer
The printer is fast and the print quality is very good. Upgrading the memory was easy and inexpensive as well. It is a workgroup/business class printer that was too expensive for home use when new, but at this price, it is far better than the affordable personal-use laser printers on the market today. Since these were business class printers when new, it is likely that many have seen extensive use over the years. They stand up to this use well, but finding a fully refurbished unit or one with a lower page count is advised. The footprint is not small enough to sit on many desktops, but given the fact that it is a workgroup class printer, it isn't overly large. I have the 2055DN, which has a built-in ethernet port, so setting it up on my network took a little extra work as Windows 10 did ... The printer is fast and the print quality is very good. One note is that it is not a quiet printer. It does have a quiet mode, which is quieter, but not quiet enough to justify running at 1/2 speed which is what it does when in quiet mode.

Good generic toner is cheap for this printer, making the average cost per print less than half a cent per page. It also prints fast and I've met lawyers with home offices swear these things run for years. I'm inclined to believe it. My law school library had a bunch of similar HP laserjets and they took a lot of abuse and kept on running. If you can find a well-preserved 2055 or 2035 with a lower page count, I'd seriously consider it. The only real drawback of this over a newer printer is lack of built in wireless. But a lot of the newer laser printers with wifi have more expensive toner (often with DRM built into the cartridges and other inkjet-style ... A cheap, fast, reliable workhorse.
