Cell Signal Booster
It will not "invent" a cell signal where none exists, but it does magnify the meager cell phone signal that I am receiving from a relatively far-away cell tower. It brings my cell phone "hotspot" up to a steady signal to allow for about 20-25 Mbps of speed, which allows me to conduct my "Zoom" calls and the VoiP telephone that I need to use for my work. I know that the 20-25 Mbps is not fast, but it seems to be fast enough. Prior to the booster being installed, I was able to use the hotspot, but there were many, many interruptions that made any attempt at a "Zoom" call a futile effort. I have the Yagi outdoor antenna pointed at a cell tower that is over 10 miles away and it grabs that signal enough to allow the booster to increase the signal strength to a usable level. It seems ... It seems that the placement of both the outdoor antenna (receiving the signal from the tower) and the indoor antenna (distributing the boosted signal through the house) is the most important variable with this unit. Once you get the proper placement dialed in, it works very, very well. Overall, it has been the answer to my issues that I initially had in trying to use my Hotspot to run my wifi system that allows me to work remotely.

These things don't help much. -90 dBm minimum signal at your site is recommended. That signal is equivalent to 3-4 bars on most cell phones, which makes the device totally unnecessary. You'll get UP TO 20 dB of improvement within 12 feet of the indoor antenna IF you keep the outdoor antenna coax length as short as possible. Forget "4000 sq ft coverage" in 1-2 bar environments. It's more like 400 sq ft. These things don't help much. -90 dBm minimum signal at your site is recommended. Have improved cell signal, travel in RV and set up with a tripod, works most of the time.
The set up is important, find the direction you need to point the external antenna, have separation between external an internal antenna, improves cell signal considerably. You need to have patience/persistence and not give up, mostly need a clear line of sight to cell towers, thick foliage will impede signal, height would help, ours is no more than 12ft from ground, live in Pioneer at least six miles from a tower. works as advertised
This product does what it said it would do. It increased my signal in the country setting from 0 bars to 3-4 steadily. I also now have full data where I had none previously.
