It in NOT rotatable, and the sizes indicated in the post are misleading, it is NOT 3.5 - 5.5 inches, but actually only 3 - 4 inches, therefore, it only offers 1 inch of variability. it is not universal, it will not hold my iPhone. there are many other comparable items on the market for a reasonable price that are satisfactory, I would not have bought this if I knew what I know now.
