You Get What You Pay For
Turned out that I enjoyed espresso more than I thought I might and after a couple weeks of daily use, the Stilosa was just not cutting it. It is not a bad product for $50 or $60 if all you want is an occasional shot. It has a small portafilter that is mostly plastic, you can get about 2 ounces of espresso at a time. IMO, the water heater and pump are both underpowered, however, the steam wand works surprisingly well. I went onto Facebook Marketplace and found a gently used Gaggia Classic Pro for $350 that included lots of expensive accessories. I am within the Stilosa return period, but it is not ethical to return a machine that I used and learned from. Instead, I put it back in the box and will give it to a relative. For me, the Stilosa was a purgatory (so to speak) that was ... Very satified with my machine.
I had a De'Longhi Espresso machine quite a while ago. It lasted 9 years! I decided to get a more expensive machine thinking it would be better. I switched over to Breville Bambino plus. Nothing but trouble. Every 3-4 months I had to send it back for service. I decided to go back to De'Longhi brand. I am very happy with this purchase. I make an espresso with it every morning and then use a separate milk frother machine. Add them together and I have a beautiful capuccino. I had a De'Longhi Espresso machine quite a while ago. Froth Steamer Does not work!
Received in damaged box. No physical damage to the machine, once I took everything out of the bags I began to start making first espresso. Tried to use froth steamer and it doesn’t work at all, we did everything to get it to work and not one drop or pressured steam. So defective unit and disappointed as this was an anniversary gift for my wife. :-(

Sweet little unit!
After taking the time to research how to use this, and experimenting, I've dialed it in pretty well to where I can make a delicious cappuccino in the comfort of my own kitchen, just the way I like it. I'm very pleased with this machine. And when I drink a delicious homemade cappuccino, I praise the Gods to live on a planet with coffee.
