A decent movie in the superhero genre
The X-Men first class series was introduced I believe in 2011. Since then, there have been many movies with this stellar cast. One of my favorites from the series is "Days Of Futures Past". In my opinion, I don't think any movie in the X-Men series, has come close to surpassing that movie with the exception X2. X-Men: Dark Phoenix is a pretty entertaining movie, but has its flaws as well. First of all, the creators tried to stick to most of the cannon material from the comic book, and in some instances it works. However, I feel they went in a different direction for continuity purposes. Other than some of my personal gripes, it was a very entertaining movie. All in all an entertaining super hero movie to me.
At time of theater release they said it was a flop, but it was not that bad and was entertaining to me. I don't follow the comic book so I don't know how it compares to it ,but all in all it was an ok super hero movie to me, with Sophie Turner doing a great job as dark phoenix.

Great new addition to the X-Men series.
Fast moving and great story line with all the action. I've been a huge fan since the 90s animated cartoon and I'm telling you, the acting was superb and the storyline was excellent. If you enjoyed X-men First Class, Days of Ffutures Past, or Apocalypse. Then you will definitely love this installment. Sophie turner has incredible emotional depth as Jean grey and reminds you of why she was so good on game of thrones; James McAvoy and Micheal Fassbender are outstanding as usual as Xavier and magneto; the guy who plays beast is above and beyond in this movie, I won't give spoilers as to why, all the X-men are on their a game. SOMETHING EXCITING FOR EVERY ONE TO SEE
THIS MOVIE WAS VERY ENTERTAINING, THAT KEEPS YOU ON THE EDGE OF YOUR CHAIR. IT WAS WELL PLAYED AND STRAIGHT TOO THE POINT. BUT ONE THING I HATED ABOUT THE MOVIE, THAT IT HAD TO END.

Nice movie
I found it an interesting and entertaining plot - naturally the snobs and critics disagreed and had pan it, but this uninformed commoner really enjoyed the journey and experience, both at the theater, and the revisit at home.
