Wrapped in a piece of cardboard and tape, it still works for now. There is a good reason pickup manufacturers ship their products in foam-padded boxes. An unpotted pickup, especially, is susceptible to damage if dropped. It seems OK for now, hopefully no damage was done. Next time, please, put a little effort into caring that an item arrives in good working condition.
