The first sports title for Nintendo's Wii showcases the platform's unique controller and its potential for revitalizing conventional genres. Versions of tennis, baseball, golf, bowling, and boxing are included in this collection designed for gamers of all backgrounds. In tennis, the Wii Remote is held like a racket, with onscreen athletes responding to the direction and speed at which players swing the input device. Lobs, serves, backhands, and smashes are all performed by moving the controller in lieu of pressing buttons. Both singles and doubles matches on multiple court surfaces are available, with the latter supporting up to four players simultaneously. Baseball and golf follow a similar style, with the Wii Remote functioning as either a bat or a club, while bowling and boxing use the device to simulate throws and punches. Wii Sports is the first game bundled with the launch of a Nintendo console since 1991's Super Mario World on Super NES.

Shipping took a long time but wasn't the seller's fault. Packaging was good. Item was a motherboard and had two wires soldered on to various pins on the back of the board, which I wasn't aware of at the time of purchase. However, the board works as advertised. I have no idea of whether these wires indicate repair or modification. So I feel not exactly as described, but still works. Value was good.

Wii is tops in Bowling, Tennis, Golf, and Baseball.
I've been playing Wii bowling for years. I've also played bowling with other systems, but nothing compares to the Wii game. It's like real bowling, with arm swing, and wrist movement simulation. It's like Bowling minus the weight of the ball. All else is realistic. The characters may be a bit simplistic, but they are highly customizable. Overall ... Wii is far above other game consoles. Oh ... Tennis is also very, very realistic. You just don't have the whole field to run across, but you can get a workout just by swinging your arms LOL.I've been playing Wii bowling for years. Awesome!
I haven't played this game in 10 years and it was so awesome to play it again! Sadly I lost my old Wii Sports game years ago. Ai recently found my old Wii and decided to get my favorite game. The game got delivered fast and not a scratch on the CD. The game is just how I remembered! Definitely worth the money especially for the Wii fans :)

Found Wii Sports!!!
We had this game a few years back and had really enjoyed it. Due to Covid19, my 12 year old son is doing school remotely and we have a stay at home request. He was wishing he still had Wii Sport to play. It was sold out at GameStop and Amazon wanted over $45 for it. Way to save the day eBay! You were the first and are still the best!
