    I never received the item, so I can not say what the condition was. The value was a good deal until I went to order another and the price went up. I received a message stating they sent me the wrong item and they issued a refund, I wanted the same item. When I went to buy another the price was higher same seller. I decided to go with a different seller and pay a little bit more. I don't think I'll be buying from them again. I did received a refund, but the whole thing seems fishy.

    It will work

    These type of tripods have gone up price wise and are being made light and cheap. I like the slow motion controls but the tripod has a weak cheap feel so I wouldn't call this a "heavy duty" tripod. Looks okay but like everything you have to pay a lot more for quality, but it will do.

    Nice

    The head portion is solid and sound but the adjusting leg portion is not as solid or stable as I expected. This is, by no means a wobbly tripod but I did expect something a little more firm, overall I'ld say is is very good, but the adjusting leg knob area could have been better. I use it for spotting and will use it for star gazing when weather allows

    Works good when you find out how to work it.

    When you can adjust it with the two knobs you have to manually move it to where you need it. Then fine-tune it with the knobs.

    This is a good tripod for a smaller Cele...

    This is a good tripod for a smaller Celestron telescope however for the large models it's not quite sturdy enough.
