Though there was no information regarding the brand or condition of the generic key, I was pleased to discover that it was a new Ilco key. However, there was old grease clogging part of the cylinder, something that I would have appreciated to have been cleaned out or at least mentioned or shown. In all, this was a good experience with the seller.

I went ahead with it because it wasn't a huge issue. But the fact he did that means a ton! It fit my GTI perfectly and is exactly what I needed for a good price. Shipping was also fast!
