    Beautiful Combination

    I'm 61 years old and after having owned everything from the first RCA transistor radio to latest Hi-Tech Bose. I had grown tired of the music choices that I had to choose from and yearned for music from an earlier more peaceful and loving time in my life. After searching and purchasing many brand name hi quality junk recorders, over many years of disappointment, I purchased one of these little jewels a few years back at a yard sale. I spent a week of looking on line and learning what this little gem could do. I was amazed with all of the features it had and what you could do with it with a computer. The DR-05 by itself is the best hand held recorder that I have ever owned and I've owned a few! Quite a few. Paired with these headphones, the sound is Outstanding and makes my recording so ...

    Better chip than expected.

    Internal speaking is on but does not work. Came with a 4 GB chip vise and noted 2 GB. Because of my hearing aid I do not want to plug in a head set. Blue tooth would have been a plus. Outstanding recorder and all features work greats.

    Just take the time to understand the device and you'll grow to love it.

    This is a wonderful tool to have in your toolkit. You should upgrade the firmware to version 2.50 as soon as possible. Also, if your recordings are too low, press the record button and then hit the button with the two triangles pointing to the right to raise the input volume. I cannot tell you how many of these I have purchased for pennies on the dollar because the previous owner couldn't get the recorder to work.

    Great Little recorder!

    Bought this recorder not really sure what to expect. Once you get all the settings set, it is a great recording machine. I was very pleased with all the end results. This little machine has a lot built into it~! Looking forward to using it more & more~! The only thing negative I can say about it is the menu is a little difficult to navigate & the instruction booklet has very small print, other than that, a great recording machine.

    Great little portable recorded.

    The dr05 was quickly up headed to the Dr05x with more features, however for my use I just record with a line in our use the bike in studio for ambient it works great. I like being able to lock the settings when I'm recording. Good size and weight. If you know the limitations of this unit and can work with within it you have a recorded of excellent value.
